Diploma in Hotel Management
Myanmar International Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management is the gateway to a successful career in the rapidly developing hospitality industry in Myanmar and overseas. The MIITHM curricula integrates a balance of realistic practical training with an input of inspiring theoretical knowledge to train and develop young people, both male and female, to take-up rewarding positions in the tourism/hospitality industry.
The Diploma in Hospitality Management Course is a 12 month full-time program coupled with a 6 month internship in a Star-Class hotel. The course is designed to equip students with the knowledge required to function effectively at supervisory / middle management level in any one of the four main departments in a large hotel. In addition to providing a comprehensive knowledge of the operations of core areas, and in depth knowledge of general management studies is given.
At MIITHM one will be tutored by world class Lecturers and Instructors employing the latest techniques of teaching and evaluating.
The policy of our institute is not to have more than 24 students per class so that the lecturers/ Instructors can observe the progress of each individual student. This is in line with our credo: “uncompromising dedication to quality hospitality training”.
